This bed took two full grown men hours to put together, but when it was fully assembled, it turned out to be a very sturdy, well made product. My only gripe is that are HUGE gaps at either end of the bunk bed where the slats don't completely reach, and they're big enough for a 2 year old to fall through, so keep that in mind. We've stuffed the ends with animals and blankets, but it's not a great long term solution. Otherwise, I feel confident the bed won't break on us anytime soon.
