I have mixed feelings on it. I like the settings and am still figuring them out. Seems like if you create a favorite that if you choose it, you should not have to remember the body part, that if you pick your favorite, it just does exactly whatever it was when you created it, it does not, what's the point then??? That's a huge issue for me because when I most need this, I'm not up to messing around with settings, in the middle of the night...I LOVE no wires, that's basically it's ONLY saving grace, that and the app, the one that makes you re-work your "favorite" setting's details each time you choose it. (So ridiculous).The gel pads.... here I am upping the intensity to find that my gel pad is hardly on, again. They don't stick very well. At least not the ones they provided with my unit. I'm betting that the place I bought it from didn't store them very well, hence the stickiness was crap. Who knows. But so far I've only found one place to buy replacements, and that's on itens.com.Also, because of the size, really they aren't very good at hitting 2 locations at a time. In some cases, yes, and truthfully, like last night, it REALLY helped me because it got my major problem and I just let the other side not stick to me (haha, the sticklessness came in handy) and it just worked on my one area. I Did buy the strip, but WTH, it arrived with no gel pads?!?! I was hurting so much, I bought both wings and strip, paid xtra for overnight so I could use asap, and the strip comes with no gel pads... ummm??? Seriously? I'm sending it back and ordering from the itens site. If I have to wait for gel pads, I may as well wait for a strip w gel pads. I mean, surely they come with them, right???Anyway, I love it. I figure that if you have the money to spend on it for the convenience, then get it, AND the strip so you can get harder spots. The conventional tens units truly are better, but I just cannot cope with the wires. However, the traditional ones you can usually find a decent one for about $50 or cheaper, AND you can get a rx for it, AND you insurance will cover it, depending on how much you've met your out of pocket, deductible, it may cover 100%. It's worth looking into, because if you've met a bunch of that, you can opt for a more $$ one and get it paid at 100%. HOWEVER, you have to get a certain brand. I'm going to also get a conventional one for days that I just can't get by.To sum it up, I do really dig the iTens, but I can see why it's no longer a huge hit. im wondering where I could find other gel pads that I could cut to fit this, too. Because I'm wondering how long they will be selling these. There aren't a lot of places selling now. Places like Brookstone and Sharper Image, that sell the cool gadgets, sell them, but I bet they sit in a warehouse, hence not being so sticky.Ok, that's my ramble... :-)
