The thing that took the most time was unwrapped each and every piece as it was packaged well so as to avoid scratching or damage. Then it was a simple one man (or woman -me) job to assemble. Super sturdy!! I was so surprised the mallet was included. I thought I’d have to go buy one. I am very happy with the storage room underneath and the solidness of my bed now. I thought I needed a new bed but turns out I just needed a supportive base!
