Sleeping is an ongoing problem for my 2 children on the spectrum. They have been bunking in my bed for years. We finally put a permanent camping mattress in our tiny bedroom so that there aren't 4 people sleeping in 1 bed. The problem is, even folded up the camping mattress takes up a huge chunk of the bedroom and makes my tiny room into a permanent mess. We got this trundle as a solution. It is technically a double trundle (it is supposed to start as a twin which folds into a king, the folds further into another twin under the king). We have it laid out permanently as a king for our mattress and are using the twin trundle for the kids. I love it. We can easily tuck their twin under the bed each morning. The boys have learned how to "make the bed" themselves by tossing all the blankets onto the king and ticking the twin underneath each morning. It is a much better solution to the cosleeping we were doing before, and nice to have my room able to look somewhat tidy now. Great solution to our problem. The bed feels sturdy enough. My only complaint is the package was missing 1 cosmetic panel which covers the bottom of the bed. It doesn't look bad without it but it definitely was missing that 1 piece and the company that sold it wasn't able to do anything about the missing piece. My husband doesn't mind bc he likes to tuck stuff under the bed anyway so I guess it's not a big deal for our family. All said we're very happy and I wish we had thought of getting this sooner! Great bed frame for our small space and great for our current co-sleeping situation.
