Doesn't squeak, but the directions are a little confusing so double check everything before going onto the next step.Assembled it in a little over an hour, and it looks wonderful. I'm very happy with this purchase.MICH EASIER FOR TWO PEOPLE TO ASSEMBLE. TOOK US ONE HOUR WITH TWO PEOPLE. HAD I DONE IT ALONE PROBABLY WOULD HAVE TAKEN 2 or MORE INSTRUCTIONS ARE EASY TO FOLLOW. NO SCREWDRIVERS needed. ALL L WRENCH SCREWS WHICH COMES WITH THE ASSEMBLY PACKAGE. All Parts LABELED A, B, C ETC…SO EASY TO TELL PARTS. My MATTRESS IS PILLOW TOP 14” so the FOOTBOARD IS EVEN TO MATTRESS. If you’re tall AND YOU HAVE A 14” MATTRESS NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT NOT HAVING ENOUGH FOOT SPACE. Bed is GREAT QUALITY FOR A GOOD PRICE. STURDY AND NO SQUEAKING. Has PLENTY SUPPORT LEGS COMPARED TO MOST OTHER BEDS. I DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND.I would recommend 2 things when putting this bed frame together, getting a friend or family member to help, and getting an electric drill with a 4mm hex bit & a wrench, it will make your life easier - there's alot of nuts & bolts you have to tightened down, I had a flimsy Ikea frame with 4-5 nuts to hold it together before this so....First, I'll point out the good stuff and say this bed is attractive and very sturdy, the design is, in my opinion, very good, hence the amount of things you have to tightened & put together.....the bad, and the reason for the 1 star taken off was one of the leg pieces had a hole that wasn't aligned properly (pictured) and wouldn't let me bolt it through, I had to drill out the piece myself to make it work....not the hardest thing to do but could have used better quality control on that....overall I do like this bed frame, its sturdy & makes no noises which is why I purchased it in the first placeThe IRONCK Queen Bed frame is beautiful. I admit there are lots of moving parts and the setup took an hour or so. The bed frame is functional and very modern once after assembly in the bedroom. I like the additional storage space underneath the bed. Although it is a sleek design, it is very sturdy and complements an existing dresser drawer in the room. The dark brown/rustic tone adds warmth to the room and is not too dark to appear drab. I have purchased other IRONCK furniture and am looking for more items in the future.What a wasted of money these must be paid reviewsI got the bed for my mother it broke in 4 days! She only weighs about 150. You want to know why the bed broke? All the peace was rusted and painted black.Some parts was bent making it hard to assembleLoved the color combo.. if you are looking for an industrial vibe to your decor but your on a budget this bed frame is perfect. It was not hard to put together, my husband did it by himself in under an hour. There’s slats every couple of inches so the mattress feels fully supported. We did not use a box spring. My 12 year old son loves it.. and I liked the price! We did change the footboard to face opposite of what they directed as we did not what the full metal frame outline to be exposed.
