It is a firm bed mattress. After two years of daily use, it is the same firmess. I love it.Not toxic and waterproof, it is a great investment. It is a peace of mind.It is lightweight. So important when you need to change the bed sheet in the middle of the night.Overall a great buy. Now it is a toddler bed and we are using the same mattress for at least one more year. I am hoping two.Update: after 5 years still in perfect shape. No shagging. No smell. Like new.
