This quilt set is of higher quality than I was expecting. Quality control was exacting on this set.I did note that the edging was a solid gray and not as pictured in the listing ( the quilt print pattern running on a diagonal ). The pattern is pleasing and the color combination gives a upscale visual impression.The weight of the quilt is not real heavy, and the fill is not thick. More like a three season weight. It has a smooth texture and feels like quality cotton. The brown bands are a very neutral hue, not orangish or leaning to gray. It works well with natural wood finishes in the room.We have not washed the quilt yet so we cannot comment on color fastness. It is so new we cannot comment on durability. If betting, I would say this set is a real value and will last a long time.
