So 2 yrs to the month of Dec my de lingo died (448.00) tends to make a person mad to spend that much and get no 2 yr Warrenty or customer service, I couldn’t get them to answer the phone.Do I went on the hunt for lower priced one with the functions that mattered to me. Crema, bar pressure, 1-2 cup function. Well I have as determined not to ever spend that much on another fancy pants espresso machine ever again. I bought one in college in the last 90’s Thst still works to this day- it’s just big boxy and outdated. So again how annoying a 448.00 machine broke the same month I bought it, 2 years pretty much down to the day I got it.I read through many I. The 110-149 price tea he. Read all the reviews. Watched all the videos. And this little cutie had a 30.00 or 40.00 coupon on it. I had a little on credits. I got jt home for 60,00. Great! The boxing was nice. The machine shape I like even better than the de Longhi - top is wider and I use hat to keep my flirtation handle on a sliver spoon rest upThere. I also have this in a countertop caddy do it pulls in and out from under the cabinets. Now to the coffee. Amazing! I didn’t expect that. I’m prickly. And really picky. Then I could set the temperature of my coffee! Huge plus!!! Love it! It’s super easy to use. Has a larger tank in back for water. I for put a water filter In The water tank. You can select you cup size or if it’s 2 cups you make at once. Super sweet. The frother is great. Works like every other one. These ppl are ho complain they are loud ? well I’ve had some expensive ones and those are just as pound - part of it. If you don’t like it you can buy a frith pot. And I like that much better. It works white I make the coffee and I’m drinking my tasty eye opening breakfast beverage so much faster cutting out that step. Plus cleaning the froth nozzle can be cumbersome- it needs to be done everytime I use it until you run the traveler and clean the entire unit- I’ve always done skin care of my espresso machines..tip! The frother tip will get cooked milk on it. Screw it off, let it sit in dawn and water in small cup and next day it wipes clean and shines as new..My coffee tastes great. It takes up small real estate space on my counter top. Looks nice. Comes with 1-2 cup fill filters a scoop and tamper. I did buy a metal tamper but I can’t see why. Coffee makes and tastes the same.i love my morning brew! I make it, add vanilla and carmel flavors and frothed milk and regular milk…it’s delicious and the resin I get out of bed in the mornings. I probably will never buy a high me one again. If it’s only going to last 1-2 years I might as well spend less and this time I got far more for money than I did with the 448.00 terrible de Longhi. Name bands don’t always man better.Only thing I wish was different is where the portafilter tightens into the machine I think it’s plastic? The rest is stainless. That part maybe to, but I don’t think so. Over all I give this a solid 10. It exceeded my expectations and my husband even commented on his coffee being way better. Which is something he rarely does. Thumbs up to this fella! He’s cute, works hard, consistently produces the exact same pots - lots of frothy crema (de Longhi I had no crema) I can choose my heat setting. Cup size setting and how many cups- the top is a very effective cup warmer too! My de Longhi was not. But it’s easier for me use my counter top space than store mugs in 2 places. I have zero regrets or wish I’d bought anything else. I was skeptical about this one. It didn’t have a lot of reviews but the on s there were like 90% positive- all 14 of them or something low like that so I tired it. Glad I did!
