This arrived as advertised. We needed it after our queen box springs did not fit up the stairs. You can see in the main image it has two distinct sections. When it arrives these sections are separate and folded up. You have to unfold them and use a few plastic pieces to link them together. It is very stable afterward. Overall time for this part of the setup was <10 minutes.I also attached a headboard to it. It arrived with all the necessary pieces. But it took a bit more work and a bit of pressure to align all the pieces than setting up the platform. It holds the headboard; but as expected with the fasteners at the base, you get a bit of wobble to the headboard. I think it was a worthwhile sacrifice for the price point I wanted.Other criticisms: It does stand up high off the ground. I guess it could hold some descent storage. However, the feet are ugly, so you will probably want a long bedskirt to cover them. Also, my order did arrive with a superficial scratches, but not enough to make me look to return it.Overall, I still would recommend this product to a friend in a similar circumstance.
