I bought this unit for my wife who is having trouble with her feet. She was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and not getting a whole lot of relief from PT. I give her daily foot massages and now use this unit for 20 minutes per foot. It has definitely helped. This unit is not as powerful as bigger units that are used in some doctors offices or at PT, but it does a decent job. I also use this on my torn shoulder and elbow and it does reduce the inflammation to a tolerable level.
