I got this trundle for my 4 year old since his room is smaller and we need all the space we can get. It was easy to put together, though I'd recommend using a drill and not just a screwdriver. I made the mistake of installing the roll out wheels on the wrong side of the wood slats, but that was my own fault for not paying attention. The frame feels sturdy. One thing I want to point out is that there isn't a track for the trundle to slide into so you'll want to make sure it's even before trying to close/push under the bed because the trundle frame could scuff the leg/side of the main bed frame. Also, I have two 8" twin mattresses that fit perfectly in the trundle and on the top. I also was impressed with the vendor and their customer service. They were quick to respond and I'd recommend them for future purchases.
