Assembly was as expected with lots of parts and pieces, but of the two different frames we bought for the girls room, this one felt like a mistake. We wanted this one for the stairs because it is for our 3yr old. But the spacing between the steps is so high that even adults feel like they are climbing not stepping. So we had to add some modifications. The caps for the corner posts don’t stay at all. Overall it functions but needs improvementI actually do not have all the bed parts, only one box was delivered but I can see the quality of the product and I can tell it will be fairly easy to assemble once I get all the parts. It appears to be pretty sturdy, too, just from the parts I have. However, I give this company five stars for their customer service. Their representative, Stephanie, has gone above an beyond to solve a shipping problem; they refunded my shipping charges and promised a full refund for the bed if I didn't receive the 2nd box. Somehow, they got a poor rating from me because of my initial inquiry. I have not been able to find their order to remove third party ratings, so I'm hoping people who see this will know this is a company that backs their products.It was moderately challenging for me to put together by myself, but I did. My only complaint with it is one I should have considered before, but it's difficult to make. I never took that into consideration. It's also hard on the feet getting up and down the ladder but nothing a pool noodle didn't solve. Overall, I like it.Gives much more space in the bedroom. One of the rings broke completely out of the ladder already though and the person using it only weighs about 85lbs.The bed we purchased has been up for maybe three weeks now. There are already 4 metal supports bent so bad that they won't go back in place and about 6-8 more bowed under the mattress. You can only bend them back once or twice before the metal just breaks. We also have a spot on one of the metal frames that is bent, causing the whole mattress to dip. We are planning to support the slats with wood and lay plywood over top to support the mattress, but we shouldn't have to do this. The metal is very flimsy... the slats shouldn't bend just because my 50lb 6-year-old stands on his mattress. If you have kids then don't buy this.7 month update: Bed is so squeaky that I can hear my boys roll over in the middle of the night from my room 20' away. The bolts supporting the ladder at both the top and bottom are now stripped and won't stay screwed into place for more than two days at a time, causing the ladder to slide off the frame when my son climbs down from the top bunk. I really hate that we made this purchase but unfortunately, we will have to deal with it awhile longer until my oldest moves back into his room in a few weeks. At that point, we will be taking the top bunk off leaving only the two bottom twin beds. Horrible purchase.My handyman specifically asked that I be sure to leave a good review! All the holes were pre drilled and lined up correctly! This bed went together just as planned. All parts were packaged and labeled well. Delivered almost a week sooner than expected. I am satisfied and recommend this product. I ordered another bed from a different seller and had a terrible expierience.This bed is as well very thing I hoped it would be. It took my husband and I about 15 minutes to assemble with the one tool provided.It’s tall enough that our daughter can stand up under it so the space is completely usable.I will recommend attaching it to the wall with the provided securing straps. We did not and it does wiggle a bit.The top bed makes a lot noise
