I bought this bed in the summer of 2024, and I’m still using it. It’s easy to assemble and feels sturdy once put together. As someone who works in furniture, there are a couple of things I wish were different: 1. I wish it came with extra slats or something to ensure the warranty is still valid for my mattress, and 2. I wish the headboard was a bit sturdier. The tools are zipped into the back, and while you can’t see it, the hollow design makes it less strong. Still comparable to ikea furniture so I’m not mad. I expected thatOverall, I’m happy with the price I paid. It doesn’t feel like it will break, but I’m not a heavy person, and sleep alone. I do wish it wasn’t velvet—I wouldn’t have bought it if I had known. I thought it was more like microfiber or polyester without that soft nap. I don’t like how it looks because touching the fabric changes the direction of the nap, making it very textured and inconsistent. I’m just not a fan of velvet, but if you are, you’d probably love it.The color is rich, and I like the low-profile side rails and footboard. If you want this color, you’ll likely have to go with velvet, which is a bit of a bummer for me, but the color is still fantastic.
