Our alternating pad (when fully inflated) is 74.8 in (without flaps) / 102.4 in (with flaps) by 35.4 in and 2.6 in thick. The pad has flaps at the 2 ends that fold over the end of the bed to keep it in place. The pump is 10.7 in x 4.7 in x 3.7 in. Does it work outside North America Standard 110V? Does it work with 220V? Unfortunately, our system ONLY works with North America 110V. While it could be used in 220V Countries together with a voltage converter, we don't cover malfunctions on the pressure pump if it has been used with a voltage converter. We've changed the pressure adjuster from a knob to a more accurate, easy-to-use horizontal sliding adjuster. Static mode helps your loved one get used to the system, as you can stop the alternation at intervals for them to rest. For example, most customers love to stop the alternation while having lunch! The Static mode is also extremely useful, during tidying and washing the patient, making it much more manageable. Alternating Pressure Mode (default mode) In this mode, the selected air pressure within the mattress pad is cycled approximately every 6 minutes by alternating between two main air chambers, causing a shift in the patient's weight distribution. Lunderg's pad has been designed to operate without the user feeling any intense movement. Static Pressure Mode (rest mode) Press the "Static" ON button to activate this mode. This process can take up to 6 minutes, depending on your current alternating cycle and pressure setting. Set Up Instructions Unroll the pressure pad and lay it flat on the bed with the air connection points at the foot or head, tucking in excess material after inflation. Connect the air hoses to the valves on the pad and pump, then plug the pump into an outlet. Turn the pump on and set the pressure to "Firm" to fully inflate the pad, which takes about 20 minutes (3 cycles). Once inflated, adjust the pressure using the knob, starting at "Firm," and modify it for user comfort.

Purchased chair surface and was life altering for my sister with cancer: co.fortable, never complained of need to reposition. Purchased this surface, but wasn't able to take out of box before she passed, but would recommend for alternating pressure at a great price point.
