I was about to return this even though I LOVED the unique linen shades (as opposed to the normal plain white ones) because the actual metal part is this terrible orange brassy color (not a nice gold like the online photos at all). I decided to try a really good can of spray paint on it and now it’s perfect!Love this light. It’s just as described.Looks great on my stairway wall.The shade quality is great!
