The pictures of this fandelier doesn’t do it justice! I LOVE this fandelier! I wanted look and function. Reading other reviews I was worried about the bulbs - they are simple to find (we had some in the house from other lights). I was worried about the battery in the remote - sound it at CVS (order it ahead of time as well). The jewels seemed to be a problem for other people but part of them are already put together. I’m a pretty crafty person so it wasn’t difficult for me to put together. If my husband was tasked with the job it might have taken him longer to put together. It took me about an hour. I did have about 3 jewels that were broken but I was able to gorilla glue them back together and one strand ended up being an extra. You can’t tell from the finished product which ones were broken. The jewels are beautiful and worth the time to do it right. The instructions were very basic and can be a little frustrating. My husband installed it with no formal electrical training. So there’s that. And my last concern was that the fan on high speed would shake the jewels and be noisy/break. Nothing moves but the blades! The fan doesn’t shake anything. I love it. It’s in my bedroom. It looks super classy and sophisticated. Buy it if you’re on the fence!
