The color LEDS do not work with the main white LEDs, and so far we have not been able to use the strobe effect, which is what we're looking for. The color LEDS are fairly washed out as well, not very impressive. For $150, I guess it was worth a shot, but I wouldn't recommend this light bar if you're looking for something that has any kind of brightness (other than the white LEDs). The programming is pretty basic, but also less than what's implied with the advertising.
