WOW this fans was more than I though it would be. First the SPEED it has 6 SPEED settings, not 3 forward and 3 backward NOPE it's 6 forward and 6 backward!!! For a small bedroom it makes ALLOT OF AIR and even on the lowest settings it makes good air!! The lighting is great too, you have 3 choices of colors you have WARM, MID WARM-COOL and COOL and you can adjust the intensity of it too. I have tried the app to make it work remotely with an iPhone and it's all working as it should and you do have a remote that comes with it too. I haven't tried to set it up with Google but it should be as easy as other things that I have paired with it. Installation was very straight forward even though I had aluminum wiring I was able to plug it with special connectors so besides this every thing went smooth!!
