These do work as multicolored RV lights. That being said the white is awful so they definitely should only be accent lights. The remote is the ONLY way to control them (heads up since they sell as a single light without a remote!). And really, other than choosing a single color (and all of the lights will be the same color unless you get clever with your remote pointing), there isn’t a ton of functionality there. There is a rolling mode which fades through the rainbow of colors. But controlling the speed is next to impossible and usually it’s way too fast for any sort of comfort. Also, the mounting tape that was included is pretty awful. I’ve replaced both now despite wiping the underside of laminate cabinets with alcohol before mounting. There’s no other way to mount.Also, there are zero instructions or anything other than the light, the wire sticking out of it, and the remote. No explanation of the remote button functionality or anything. Very strange.The one pro is that the construction of them is very nice. Solid metal and glass or thick acrylic it feels like.All in all, I think they’re a bit overpriced. A nice add to the RV, but you can get a battery powered (as in, not wired) alternative with the same functionality for probably less than $20.
