Just received and installed this LED rechargeable light into the truck bed area, which had been a pit of gloom at night: couldn't see a thing in there with the tonneau cover on, and the truck designer hadn't thought to include a courtesy light, an item common in most trunks of sedans. The light is bright enough to illuminate the entire bed area at full setting. I installed the bracket toward the rear of the bed on the right hand side, near the tailgate and next to the shuttered power outlet. The power plugs can be left in the outlet, with the mini plug inserted into the lamp, to keep the lithium ion battery charged. I keep the lamp clipped into the bracket, so I can reach for the on-switch when I need light. The idea of this product is that it can be removed from the clip, and be used as a kind of flashlight if needed to light elsewhere on the vehicle. This is not an inexpensive lamp, but it is very versatile and appears to be rugged enough for automotive use, not to mention that it more than does its job in the lighting department. The combination of the liIon and the high-performance LED technologies makes an efficient product that should not tax your vehicle's electrical system unduly. I'd been looking around for exactly this type of lamp, and it seemed to be the only one of its kind. Nice job!
