I bought these to upgrade my stock lighting, for my 2018 Triumph Rocket 3 Roadster. I wanted to gain extra visibility and vision. The lights are very bright.Installation will certainly vary from bike to bike. My first effort took longer; I anticipate I could do this for a friend in about 30 minutes.The resistor (device used to provide enough current to prevent flickering is hard-wired. My bike's headlight assemblies don't have a lot of extra room. Take time to ensure you do not install where the wires or the resistor could be damaged due to vibration / cuts, etc...The lights did not match right out of the box, but, as soon as I detected the error, I sent an email and quickly got a reply. I actually received the replacement unit and a label for returning the mismatch in a couple of days. The customer service agent was apologetic and friendly and attentive.The customer service aspect of this order inclines me to give a high rating, because I'm not a petty horse's ass that gripes about small stuff and they fixed a minor issue quickly.
