A grounded shield between the primary and secondary windings assures safe operation and the built-in circuit protection will disconnect power temporarily in case of overload. All comply with NEC Code 680.23 requirements for underwater luminaries, and come with a 1-year warranty.

We have a very large yard with lots of low voltage lights. We also have a pool, a fishpond and a fountain. The wiring for this is very safe. I also like the split circuitry. I wired 2 separate 110 volt systems thru one unit. Will probably order a second unit.
