Holy moly is this thing bright! It is brighter than the street lights in our neighborhood!!! We got this to light our dog run for when our dogs go out at night. They are senior dogs with hearing and vision problems, so we needed something that would be bright enough to help them see in the dark. Depending on how high you install it, it can cover a really wide area. It lit up 3 of our neighbor's yards so we had to bring it lower so as not to annoy the neighbors.I can't speak for longevity, but I'll be sure to come back and update this review in a year or two. Overall, really great value for the money.
