I was originally worried about buying solar powered lights. I had heard they weren't bright enough and wouldn't work if you had a cloudy day etc... But I have to say we are pleased with our purchase. No batteries to have to change is also a bonus. My husband said "They were simple to install" . They put out more than enough light for our purposes. Lights up the front of our shop and the second one is over our bbq and smoker area. I love that they just are on when I need them and off when I don't. There are remotes but we haven't used them. They seem really well built. I was surprised as how well they are built for the price. I highly recommend these
